I have a Dream assigment

12. "I have a dream that one day right there in Alabama little black boys and little black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers
- I do believe that Dr.King meant that the black and Whites will join together as one. I do think that he also meant that one day in Alabama little black boys and little white girls will have equal rights to join in a sisters and brother.
 
In this time period this statment is relvent because in that time period the blacks and the whites had no equal rights. The blacks had to get punished for what the whites did. The blacks had there owe waterfountain  and the whites had there owe warer fountain and was not to use each others foubntain.  I think this is really sad and not right for the blacks and whites.

BR-8/29/13

"One hundred years later, the Negro is still languishing in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. So we have come here today to dramatize a shameful condition."         -I think this is a very sad problem back in the day for the blacks that they had gotton treated so differently than us as white people.


"This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned."

BR 8/27/13

1. I think that the two boys should be tried as adults becuase they knew better and were old enough to know.

2. I think that they should stay uninclosed and have no rights at all for what they have done wrong.

3. We need ot get together and help people not to do what is wrong and do ehat is right.
