3/20/14 Notes

The district courts don't hear cases that are original of the supreme court.

In a criminal case the U.S is always the proctors.

Most decisions in the federal district courts are final.
 
There are 12 districts.

Each courts has up to 26 judges.

Normally 3 judge panels.

9 judges appointed by the president and senate.
