1. Each state send delegates based on their directorial votes.

2. The device each party uses to select it's nomination for president.

3. Began as winner take all.

4. A closed meeting of a poitliacal party which gather to select delagates to the nationsl convention.

5. Adopt platform and keynote address.

6. Typically the current president is nominated.
